- This marriage is implied by early records of Wilkes Co., GA. Micajah Bennett is appointed guardian to James Evans, son of James Evans. The widow, Sally Evans, later marries Weaver Cotton in Wilkes Co. Micajah Bennett names his daughter, Sally Cotton, in his will in Jackson Co., GA in 1826.
