19 May 1736-Winifred Bennet Orphan of Edward Bennet four years old the 23d Day of February last is hereby bound unto Thomas Wornum Junr untill she attaine ye age of eighteen years. In Consideration whereof ye sd Thomas Wornum oblidges himself to learn her to Read, knit, sew & spin etc. for the due performance whereof Thomas Wornam with William Betts Senr enters into a Recognizance of five thousand pounds of tob° to ye worshipfull his Majestys Justices of ye Peace for this County for the time being for ye use of ye sd orphan in Case of the sd Thomas Wornams not Complying with ye act of assembly in that Case made & provided.
