Daniel Price was the son of John Price II. He inherited, along with his brother John Price III (who married Jane Pew), 150 acres of land patented by his uncle Matthew Price. Mathew price apparently died without issue and the land descend to Daniel Price and John Price from their father, who was the brother of Matthew Price. Daniel Price and his brother John sold the land in 1677 to William Hatcher. His son Benjamin Hatcher sold the land to John Pleasants. the deed described the land and plantation as :heretofore belonging to may father (which said land was by him purchased of Daniel and John Price in 1677), bounded by land of Samuel Woodward and downward upon turkey island Creek, containing 150 acres ... commonly known by the name Turkey island Pointe.” Henrico Co. Daniel Price married Susanna Carter, daughter of Giles Carter and Hannah Crew. Administration of the estate of Daniel Price was granted to his widow Susan Price on 1 Aug. 1692. Henrico Co.
