"Mr. W. S. Bennett of Reidsville, N. C., and Miss Minnie Scott, of this city, were united in marriage, at 7:30 o'clock, last Tuesday evening, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Scott. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. A. Wray, in the presence of a number of relatives and friends.
As Miss Scott, the bride was one of Milledgeville's most popular young ladies, and possesses those traits of character which endear her to a large circle of friends. Mr. Bennett is a traveling representative of a large tobacco house, and is well known throughout the State.
Immediately after the ceremony, they left for the home of his mother in Gibson, Ga."
