1796, Sept. 26. Chambers, Mary, of the City of Trenton, Hunterdon Co., widow; will of. To daughter, Mary O’Neil, otherwise called Mary Jobs, of Georgetown on the Potomac, £150; also 1 silver watch, walnut desk, 13 yds. Of linen, 2 tablecloths, chest of drawers, 6 silver teaspoons, 25 lbs. of flax and all wearing apparel; also lot of land at Lamberton, Burlington Co., during her life. Daughter, Nancy Crow (wife of Robert Crow, of Washington Co., Virginia), £80; also 6 silver teaspoons, tea tongs in Sally Moore’s possession, gold ring and ½ of personal left daughter Mary O’Neil, should she predecease testatrix. Granddaughter, Mary Brown (wife of Peter Brown, of Trenton), the real and ½ of personal left daughter Mary O’Neil after her decease; also £35; and to Mary Brown (the daughter of said granddaughter Mary Brown), 1 lookking glass, tea things, a small salver and £25, when 18. Granddaughter, Mary Davies (daughter of Nancy Crow), £25. To Peter Brown of Trenton, £15. Grandson, William O’Neil, 5 shillings. Half of the money due from the estate of James Hill, dec’d to be discharged, the remaining part to Margaret Clothier. Daughter, Sarah Hill, 10 shillings. Great granddaughter, mary Hill, a bed in her mother’s possession. Residue to be divided between Mary O’Neil, Nancy Crow and Mary Brown.
