  • Notes

    • Milky Dill is listed as head of household in the 1840 Caswell Co., NC census, p. 125. Her husband Archibald Dill died in 1838. Milcah died shortly thereafter in 1842.

According to many Fisher researchers, Milcah Fisher married an unkown Dill and her sister Prudence married a David Strader. The David Strader who married Prudence had property on Hogan’s Creek in Caswell Co. Hannah Dill, the daughter of Archbiald and Milcah married a younger David Strader. Also, many of the Fishers moved to Morgan Co. MO. John H. Dill, David Dill, and Elisha Dudley also moved to Morgan Co., Mo. It appears that the Fisher and Dill families were allied.
