Thomas Wright of Pittsylvania County, Virginia, was born between March 1762 and March 1763 probably at Goochland County, Virginia, married as his second wife Sarah Elizabeth Pullen on March 30, 1792, at Bedford County, Virginia, and died between Feb 28 & May 19, 1845, at Pittyslvania County, Virginia. His parents were John Wright (d. 1814) of Bedford County, Virginia, and Mary Pace.
Thomas Wright patented 283 acres in Pittsylvania Co. on the branches of White Walnut Creek and the banks of Sandy River adjoining Chadwell, Wilson, Deen, &c. on 7 July 1783. Land Office Grants H, 1782-1783, p. 317 .
Francis Wright patented 426 acres in Pittsylvania Co. on the branches of Burches Creek adjoining land of Harris, Shelton &c. on 20 Oct. 1779. Land Office Grants A, 1779-1780 (v.1 & 2 p.1-685), p. 132.
