  Thomas Kennon witnessed deed from John T. Gomer to William Kennon for 51 acres on Rattlesnake Creek adjacent George Turner, Glass, and Quine on 15 Feb. 1816. Caswell Co. Deed Book S, p. 44-45 (Kendall, p. 4) Thomas Kennon witnessed deed from James Grant to William Kennon for 63 acres on on Country Line and Hogan Creeks adjacent Ezekial Waters 23 April 1816. Caswell Co. Deed Book S, p. 62-63 (Kendall, p. 5) On 4 April 1823, Thomas Kennon purchased 170 acres of land on Moon’s Creek adjacent Joseph Bracken from Henry Cobb for $300. Charles Mitchell and John cobb witnessed the deed. Caswell Co. Deed Book U, p. 171-72 (Kendall, p. 83). Note that Joseph Bracken married Nancy Hooper, the widow of Benjamin Hooper.
