His wife is believed to be the daughter of Robert Means, who left a will dated May 20, 1822 naming a daughter Mary Barns. Rockingham co. Will Book A, pg. 259.
In the 1810 census (pg. 217), he is living in Rockingham Co., NC. near Nathaniel Barnes. (0 0 1 1 1 | 2 2 1 0 1). He and his wife are both over 45.
