• Notes

  A noted minister of the Baptist faith. Obadiah was baptized by his father into fellowship of the Mill Creek Church of Pittsylvania County Oct. 1812. In the automn of 1822 he removed to middle Tennessee and in 1825 he moved to Texas and a year later to Desota Parish, La. where he died.
