William Bass made a will date 20 Apr. 1696 and recorded 1 Oct. 1696. He names his daughter Elizabeth who he left a cow and some household items and “loving wife” Hester, who he named as executrix. Henrico County Wills & Deeds, Book 3, 1688-1697, p. 603.
Orphans Court 1 Oct 1701. "Elizabeth Bass one of the orphans of William Bass late of this Coty Dec'd being (as she in court confesseth) above 21 years of age, acknowledgeth and the Rect. of her protion due out of her dec'd fathers Estate and Doth Discharge her Guardn & his Secty" [need cite]
