  [William2.FTW] REFN: 4041 Jesse Gilreath moved to Newberry County, South Carolina with his pa rents in 1787. After his father's death, he settled in the northern part of Greenville County. On June 10, 1796 he purchased a farm from John Childres s and established his home on Beaverdam Creek and the South Tyger River near O'Neal, next to his brother, George Gilreath.
