Will Book 5, p. 511. Luke Millner composed a will on 6 Apr. 1746 in which he names his sons John and Luke and daughters Ann and Elizabeth. He mentions his wife but does not provide her name. wife land during her widowhood; each child to have a suitable education; son John land at Totuskey know as Namond's Plant. and Bow Neck and all land in Brunswick Co. bought of William Reynolds; son Luke the plant. I now live on and all land as far s the branch called Gravelly Branch; son Mark remainder of land from the bounds of Luke Millner's land where John Thrift and John Howell live and the place Thomas Brannan seated as also the other half of my water grist mill with his bro. Luke; daus. Elizabeth and Anne land in Brunswick Co. bought of Capt. Clement Read; nephew Benjamin Millner; children to receive legacy at 21 and not before; ex: wife; John Woodbridge, Henry Miskell, Epaphroditus Sydnor, Martin Sherman to see will performed and to help with the care of the children; wits: Catherine Hanks, Daniel Lightfoot, Thomas McMahan.
