  Frances Bennett was the daughter of Thomas F. Bennett and Elizabeth Kerr Bennett. She married in 1803 to George Crider. Catherine Lindsay Knorr, Marriage Bonds and Minister’s Returns of Pittsylvania Co., Virginia 1767-1805, Southern Historical Press, Inc., Greenville, SC 2002 (reprint), p. 21. Henry Crider, George’s brother, was surety on the marriage bond. George and Frances Crider moved to Gibson Co. TN. Frances died before 19 Oct. 1839 in Gibson Co., TN when a schedule of property was returned by T.B. and S. J. Crider, the administrators of her estate. Rebecca L.
