The ceremony was performed by Rev. J.A. Wray, in the presence of a number of relatives and friends. As Ms. Scoot, the bride was one of Milledgeville's most popular young ladies, and possesses those traits of character which endear her to a large circle of friends. Mr. Bennett is a traveling representative of a large tobacco house, and is well-known throughout the State. Immediately after the ceremony they left for the home of his mother in Gibson, GA.
